He strode into a nearby lake and a hundreds of fans started to follow him into the water. Security guards had to take him out of the water as fans and paparazzos surrounded him.
Before he embarked on an epic water walk, Kanye West shouted into the microphone: "Over there, can y'all see me over there? We're going to do something different right now, like, like, like we always do it this time!"
West is visiting Armenia together with his wife Kim Kardashian. They are on a trip that gained huge media attention, especially because the visit is based on Kardashian's roots. Speaking of Kim, she was amazed by her husband's move, tweeting shortly afterwards: “Thousands of people were there! Kanye jumped in swan lake to be closer to the crowd on the other side & so many people jumped in too!”
But entertainment aside, it has been reported that Kim is in Armenia to shoot a documentary about the genocide of its residents during the First World War. According to historians, as many as 1.5 million people were killed between 1915 and 1917 by the Ottoman Empire. Turkey strongly denies these allegations.
